Heaven on Earth: Possessing the Kingdom With Power

What if you were living beneath your spiritual privileges—not because they weren’t available, but because you didn’t know how to access them? That’s the powerful truth explored in this week’s message at Christ Church International Ministry.

The Kingdom of God isn’t just something we wait for after death. It’s a reality we are called to live now, here on earth.

“Thy Kingdom Come”: More Than a Prayer

When Jesus taught the disciples to pray, He said, “Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven” (Luke 11:2). That was more than a spiritual slogan—it was a divine instruction. God's plan from the beginning has always been to extend Heaven's rule to Earth, through us.

In Genesis 1:26, God gave man dominion over the earth. But through sin, humanity lost that authority. Jesus came to reclaim it. And when He declared “It is finished” on the cross, the price was paid. Dominion was restored.

The Kingdom Has Come—But It Must Be Taken

Jesus didn’t stop at prayer; He prepared us for power. In Acts 1:8, He said, “You shall receive power after the Holy Spirit has come upon you...” The Kingdom officially broke into the earth at Pentecost. From that moment on, God’s rule was no longer theoretical—it was real.

But here's the catch: the Kingdom doesn't just fall into your lap. “The Kingdom of Heaven suffers violence, and the violent take it by force.” (Matthew 11:12)

This isn't physical violence—it’s spiritual intensity. It’s passionate prayer, unwavering faith, intentional worship, and a refusal to settle for less than God’s best.

Realms Are Real—And So Are Kingdoms

The pastor powerfully explained how we live in overlapping realms—physical and spiritual. Just like a Wi-Fi network exists invisibly around you, so does the realm of the Kingdom. You won’t connect unless you have the right password: the Holy Spirit.

Many people are present in church but absent from the state of the Kingdom. Why? Because they lack spiritual sensitivity. You can be in the right place but still miss the power if you're not in the right state.

Kingdoms Clash—You Must Choose a Side

There are other kingdoms at work—some of them ancient, hidden, and even inherited. These spiritual systems resist the influence of God's Kingdom. That’s why reclaiming territory for God takes force—not carnal, but spiritual force through prayer, fasting, and faith-filled action.

This isn’t just a metaphor. The message ended with a striking call to arms: Every strange kingdom operating in and around your life must fade away by fire!

Key Takeaways
  • The Kingdom of God is a present reality, not just a future hope.

  • Jesus restored dominion to us, but we must enforce it through spiritual engagement.

  • You must be filled with the Holy Spirit to live in the Kingdom realm.

  • The Kingdom must be taken by spiritual violence—prayer, faith, and power.

  • We live in overlapping realms—and only those aware of the spiritual dimension walk in true authority.

Heaven on Earth is yours to walk in—but you must be intentional. It takes faith, force, and fire. The question isn’t whether the Kingdom is available—the question is, are you connected?
